Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 10, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Orbit Digital LLC, doing business as Orbit Studio ("Orbit Studio," "we," "us," or "our"), handles information when you visit orbitstudio.us (the "Site") or get in touch with us. We keep what we collect to a minimum, we do not sell your personal information, and we only use it to respond to you and run our business.
1. Who we are
Orbit Studio is the studio brand of Orbit Digital LLC, a limited liability company registered in the State of Kansas, United States. We design and build custom internal software (Orbit Systems) and premium, conversion-focused websites (Orbit Sites) for businesses. This policy covers our marketing website. Work we perform for clients under a separate written agreement is governed by the privacy and confidentiality terms in that agreement.
2. Information we collect
Information you give us
When you submit our contact form or email us, we collect the details you choose to share, which may include your name, email address, phone number, business name, website, the service you are interested in, your primary goal, and the contents of your message. You do not have to provide optional fields.
Information we collect automatically
Like most websites, our hosting provider records standard technical information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type, device information, the pages you view, and the date and time of your visit. We use this for security, troubleshooting, and to understand general usage. We also use Google Analytics (via Google Tag Manager) to understand how visitors use the Site, such as which pages are viewed, how long visits last, and whether our contact form is used. This data is aggregated and does not identify you personally; we do not use advertising cookies, and you can block analytics with common browser tools without affecting the Site.
Fonts
Our Site loads the Outfit and Inter typefaces from Google Fonts. When it does, your browser requests those files from Google, and Google may receive your IP address as part of that request. If the request is blocked, the Site falls back to your device's standard fonts.
3. How we use your information
We use the information we collect to:
- respond to your inquiries and provide quotes or proposals;
- provide, maintain, and improve our Site and services;
- communicate with you about a project or potential engagement;
- keep the Site secure and prevent abuse or fraud; and
- comply with our legal obligations.
We do not sell or rent your personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.
4. Why we are allowed to use it
Where applicable law requires a legal basis, we rely on the following: your consent (for example, when you choose to contact us), our legitimate interest in operating and improving our business, the need to take steps before or during a contract with you, and compliance with legal obligations. You can withdraw consent at any time by contacting us.
5. How we share information
We share information only as needed to run our business, and only with parties that are bound to protect it:
- Service providers. We use Netlify to host the Site and process contact-form submissions, and Resend to deliver the notification emails those submissions generate. Google Fonts delivers the typefaces described above.
- Legal and safety. We may disclose information if required by law, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Orbit Studio, our clients, or others.
- Business transfers. If our business is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction.
6. How long we keep it
We keep the information you send us for as long as we need it to respond to you, to manage a potential or active engagement, and to meet legal, accounting, or reporting requirements. When we no longer need it, we delete it or anonymize it.
7. How we protect it
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including reputable hosting and email providers and encrypted connections (HTTPS). No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
We are based in the United States, and the information we collect is processed and stored in the United States. If you contact us from outside the United States, you understand that your information will be handled here.
8. Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of the personal information we hold about you, to object to or restrict certain uses, and to withdraw consent. Because we do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, there is nothing to opt out of in that respect. To exercise any right, email us at support@orbitstudio.us and we will respond as required by applicable law. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.
9. Cookies and tracking
We aim to keep the Site as light as possible. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. The Site uses Google Analytics cookies to measure aggregate usage (pages viewed, visit duration, traffic sources); these do not identify you personally. Any other cookies or local storage are limited to what is necessary for the Site to function. You can control or block cookies through your browser settings, and blocking analytics does not affect your use of the Site.
10. Third-party links
Our Site links to client project showcases and other third-party websites that we do not operate or control. This policy does not apply to those sites, and we are not responsible for their content or privacy practices. We encourage you to review the privacy policy of any site you visit.
11. Children's privacy
Our Site is intended for businesses and adults. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us and we will delete it.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Significant changes will be reflected here, and your continued use of the Site after an update means you accept the revised policy.
